Before Tonight, 2009 had two performances in Los Angeles CA for an audience of 700, an increase from the original performance in 2006. Some minor changes from previous versions include adding a prologue and changing the opening number, rewriting the closing song, and new instrumentation adding guitar and cello. Topping the cast were Aaron DeJesus as Joseph, Katie Luther as Mary, Meredith Prince as Elizabeth, and Greg Lewis as the Angel.
